this is going to be an important resource when I start looking for places to crush grapes (since I am not yet rich and famous enough to go do it in BK)
Monday: training-plan approved rest (although I was supposed go to practice but my body decided to take a poorly-timed nap)
Tuesday: 5 treadmill miles at 10:00 pace, hill program on level 10
Wednesday: 2.75 easy miles. Running without music is unfortunate, but when your iPod stops working and you have no idea what time it is and therefore no idea how far you may have gone (and have timed your run so you have just enough time to fit it in before getting ready for work), that’s extra unfortunate.
Later - cross-training: derby practice
Thursday: rest
Friday: 5 easy treadmill miles
Saturday: cross-training: derby practice (necessary evil so I can make attendance and bout in August, due to the fact I napped through Monday’s practice) with far-too-much sore-muscle-inducing activities given the running I needed to do the rest of the weekend, 5 easy treadmill miles later in the day
Sunday: 12 slow miles outside. Not fun.
total mileage: 29.75 miles
I love some quality rationalization that encourages the less-painful approach.
where, it is not discussed often enough, the bars offer drinks to-go
