Also terribly important:

my race results

On Friday Mom and I headed over the Tappan Zee to see Dennis DeYoung (the original lead singer of Styx) at the Music Hall in Tarrytown for her birthday. Highly entertaining on a lot of levels, including, but not limited to, his rhinestone-encrusted belt buckle and bright white sneakers, guitarists who looked like the Nelson twins (sadly the shorter haircut version), and audience members who were highly enthusiastic but not blessed with the gift of rhythm and/or sobriety.
fun fact: The average age of the headliners at the last two shows (e.g. Friday’s and this one ) I have attended is 64. I swear this is not some sort of weird way for me to deal with aging.
